Easter

Lots of chocolate and lots of bunnies...otherwise not a lot in common with our Easter traditions.

In Italy, kids get a uova (egg) made of chocolate and filled with a prize. No easter basket, jelly beans and egg hunts.

The other classic food for Easter is the colomba -- dove shaped bread (sweet) that's good for breakfast (french toast!!)

you can see the eggs in the back

I can't say I went all out. Made some "baskets" (more like sacks made out of felted sweaters and lined with men's shirts) for the boys, felted this bunny and sewed a little cloth egg with a pocket.
